First Friday Club: Christmas Lunch - 3rd of Dec 2010

Christmas is coming and it is time for our Christmas Networking Lunch. So lots of delicious food and wine, should you be lucky enough and not have to drive.
It is going to be at The Old Lodge, Old Maltongate, Malton, YO17 7EG on Friday 3rd December 2010 and we are meeting at 12 noon. I needed to know numbers by Tuesday 30th November so that I can let the Lodge know and I would also like people to select what they would like from the menu below. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me and hopefully we’ll see lots of new and old faces.

 

Four course Festive Lunch Menu, £19.95

 

Starters

• Really good home made soup (meat free)
• Coarse chicken liver, bacon & caramelised onion paté with melba toast and home made chutney
• Fan of melon, with prawns and a chive and crème fraiche dressing
• Brie & redcurrant tartlet with basil dressed salad

Main courses

 

• Freshly roasted turkey crown, with all the trimmings
• Roast North Yorkshire rump of beef, roasted potatoes, Yorkshire Pud & meaty gravy
• Baked salmon fillet with dill potato cake and prawn and wine sauce
• Roasted ‘Quorn’ Turkey with a veggie bacon roll, stuffing and home made Yorkshire pudding
• Roasted vegetable, cranberry and goats’ cheese nut roast with a red pepper sauce

Desserts

 

• Traditional Christmas Pudding with Rum Sauce
• Mulled wine, cranberry and apricot trifle
• Dark chocolate and mint truffle torte
• Caramelised orange and walnut cheesecake 

Followed by Coffee and Mince Pies

 

You can pay the Old lodge on the day or if you wish please make out a cheque or pay me cash and I will provide you with a receipt from the First Friday club and pay the lodge on your behalf. Any questions please ask and the £19.95 is all you need to pay for the Christmas bash.
