Next First Friday Meeting announced
Hi Guys
The next networking event will be held again at The Old Lodge, Old Maltongate, Malton, YO17 7EG on Friday 2nd October 2009 between 12 noon – 2pm. As before it will be a chance for everyone to get to know each other and generally network. Remember your business cards!!
The only cost for this meeting will be £10 per person and I will collect the money on arrival, this is a contribution for the rent of the room and the food. Please let me know if you are coming and bringing other people, so that I can arrange numbers for the tea, coffee and food.

Pocklington Network 3rd Meet a Success
This weeks meeting was a great success with over 40 attendants and Simon Dixon one of the owners of the KP club explained fantastically how they over came the obstacles of the 90's recession and built a fantastic business through innovation and a great team ethic.

New Date for Pocklington Network Next Event
An email will be circulated shortly to all members in the meantime those subscibing to the blog here is the lastest update...
"We write to inform you that due to circumstances beyond our control the meeting of the Pocklington Network that was due to be held on Tuesday 8th September has been postponed . It has now been rearranged to take place at the KP Golf Club at 7,30 am on Tuesday 22nd September.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused and look forward to seeing you at the rearranged meeting."

First Friday in Malton - Golf Day
The date will be Friday 4th September and will start at 230pm straight after the 1st Friday Club meeting at the Old Lodge.
The venue is Malton & Norton Golf Club and we will be playing 18 holes. Unfortunately the golf club can’t accommodate us for food that day, but we are welcome to use the 19th hole for drinks, a suggestion was to retire to a local curry house if people would like something to eat. Your views and interest on this are welcome.
The cost is £30 per head, obviously if you are members you will not have to pay, which is payable on the day. If it would be easier for people you can make a cheque payable to “1st Friday Club” and I’ll write a cheque out for the full amount on the day. It might be easier for people to put it through your books and or expenses.
Those who are interested please let me know by Monday 31st August if you are coming for definite and also let me know about a curry afterwards and if you want to pay the 1st Friday Club. If you do please send the cheques to me at The Brambles, Middle Street, Swinton, Malton, YO17 6SR.

Last month John Broadbridge of Crombie Wilkinsons Solicitors gave us all a great insight into the hidden depth of law.
This month we have a free slot available to anyone wishing to tell us all about their company and what you do, this slot is on a first come first serve basis and isn’t available to anyone who has done one in the last six months.
